Miss America 1955 Related to Meriwether Lewis, 19th century explorer and later governor of the Louisiana Territory. Measurements: 34 1/2B-22-35 (Source: Celebrity Sleuth magazine) As a 19-year-old drama student from California, she was crowned Miss America in 1954, the year of the first live telecast, and was the first to cry tears of joy at the announcement. Contrary to popular belief, she never played Catwoman on the series "Batman" (1966). Only Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt did. She did, however, play Catwoman in the movie Batman (1966) and later played another character in two episodes of the series.
