Enjoys snowboarding, ice skating, rollerblading, basketball, swimming, horseback riding. Was cast as Gibb in Freddy vs. Jason, but then lost the part because of another film scheduling conflict. The producers re-cast Katharine Isabelle in the role. There was a big debate on whether or not Lauren would keep her blonde hair for Mutant X. During her youth she traveled around the world with her family and has lived in Europe, Central America, The U.S. and Canada. In 2002 Lauren was nominated for a Gemini for her role as Evil Emma in Mutant X's Double Vision. Her first professional acting job was a featured role in Get Carter starring Sylvester Stallone. She was noticed by a fashion scout when she was just 13 years old. Lauren and her Mutant X co-star Forbes March were in an acting class together when they were around 12 or 13. She was listed as one of the top 13 Canadian actresses in the October edition of enRoute (Air Canada) Magazine. Lauren's stepfather is a documentary filmmaker.
