She sings, and Laura was brought into the world of acting due to her performance in various operas. Her singing in the CCOC (Canadian Childrens' Opera Chorus) started her into operas. Spent nine years training to be a ballerina. Laura's younger sisters - Heather Bertram and Jennifer Bertram - are also actresses.
