Lalaine Vergara-Paras, or simply Lalaine, is best known for her role as Miranda Sanchez, Lizzie's (Hilary Duff's) best friend, in the hit TV series Lizzie McGuire. Currently residing in Los Angeles, Lalaine is about to release a music album.
Lalaine is the youngest of four siblings, Marian, Francisco and Cristina, she also has two nephews and a niece. She resided in the Philippines from 1990 till 1995. Her sister Cristina had to beg her Mom to drive her to her singing coach for vocal training in 1997, which she paid for in three months. It was then that Lalaine was discovered and performed as Little Cosette in "Les Miserables" Broadway Production for almost a year. Both her parents were born in the Philippines. Her mom Lilia Paras is from Batangas, and her dad is from Pampanga. Was considered for the role of Kammy in Southland Tales. Just as her former Lizzie McGuire co-star and friend Hilary Duff, Lalaine was also born in the year of the rabbit, according to the Chinese Zodiac.
