"The Insider" has the pics and the quips!   “It wasn’t like we had to lie down together,” Kristen says of her sexy scene with Robert in the first 'Twilight' film, “but we were very reactive. We had a very responsive, palpable thing.” Robert says of the memorable scene, "“I was calm and collected, and then we do this thing where we’re pretty much making out. ... Kristen was very different from how I expected the girl who played Bella would be. I was kind of intimidated." As for off-screen romance, “I have a no-bullshit detector,” Kristen tells the publication, “so I’d have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest." Rob responds to the question with a question, “Um, I don’t know. What did Kristen say?” You. “No. I’m better at faking,” he says, laughing. “She’s a unique girl,” says Robert of his 'Twilight' leading lady. “You really don’t meet many people like Kristen.” The latest issue of Harper's Bazaar hits newsstands Nov. 17.

'Twilight' hunk Robert Pattinson is making new about his real-life relationship with his onscreen love Kristen Stewart. Pattinson tells Vanity Fair that he and Stewart are "good friends" and also says, "I think she's the best young actress around." 'Twilight' director Catherine Hardwicke explains the chemistry between Pattinson and Stewart: "What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other. Complex feelings for each other. It was what we needed. Complex, intense fascination." The article reveals the story behind why Rob Pattinson almost missed out on playing Edward Cullen in the hit supernatural series. At the time that he was cast in 'Twilight,' he had been axed from a London play before opening night. He made a tape of himself to send to the 'Twilight' filmmakers, but decided against submitting it. It was only after an exhaustive casting search turned up no suitable Edwards that Pattinson's name came up. Summit Entertainment president of worldwide production Erik Feig tells the story to Vanity Fair: "[I told a colleague], 'I know we've looked. I just feel there are a couple of rocks that we haven't checked under.' I said, 'There have to be British actors that we don't know about that are this guy, who can do a great American accent.' I said, 'Do me a favor, Go to IMDB and look at every young actor, from age 15 to 25, who was in 'Harry Potter' or anything, even a tiny role, print out their headshots.'" The 'Twilight' co-stars - who play lovers in the vampire thriller and are rumored to be dating in real life - are reportedly sharing a penthouse hotel suite while they film the third installment of the film franchise in Vancouver, Canada.
'Twilight' was the big winner at last night's Scream Awards (18.10.09).

The vampire franchise won four accolades at the star-studded ceremony at the Greek Theatre in Hollywood, including Best Fantasy Movie, while its two main lead stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were named Best Fantasy Actor in the Female and Male categories respectively.
Fans are vamped up for 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon,' so they will enjoy hearing this recent confession vampire heartthrob Robert Pattinson made in a special issue of People magazine.   Pattinson talked about his sexy role in the wildly popular movie franchise, saying, “When I read 'Twilight,' and there are these moony descriptions of Edward as a godlike figure, I thought there was no way I could play him." “But when I got in the room with Kristen [Stewart], there was a certain chemistry," Pattinson revealed about his costar Stewart, who plays his love interest Bella Swan. "She’s basically the reason I did the movie.” 'Twilight' author Catherine Hardwicke also revealed what really happened on set between Pattinson and Stewart. “When they were kissing ... Rob got a little passionate and fell off the bed!” As director Chris Weitz points out, 'Twilight' follows the love between Bella and Edward, while 'New Moon' is about a heartbreak that spurs a possible love triangle. “I get nervous trying to represent Team Jacob [Black] in the right way. This guy is some pretty good competition,” actor Taylor Lautner told People before a scene with Pattinson. Lautner plays Jacob, a werewolf who is pining for Bella's affection. “The fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.” Weitz said that those on Team Edward will be seeing the sexy vampire more than perhaps expected. Weitz credits flashbacks with providing “more Edward in the film. Viewers will see him more often than Bella sees him in the book.” 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' hits theaters Nov. 20, while People magazine's special 'Twilight' issue hits newsstands Friday, October 16.

The filmmakers from Summit Entertainment have launched a 'Twilight Saga' Twitter page featuring tweets from 'New Moon' director Chris Weitz. Today, a tweet revealed that 'New Moon,' which hits theaters on November 20, will be two hours and ten minutes long. The first tweet from the account read, "From Chris Weitz -- Hi! Welcome to the official New Moon twitter account. This is my first ever tweet so be gentle with me." The Twitter page, which includes press photos featuring Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, also revealed, "Next week, look out for the first official scene on Entertainment Tonight & iTunes!"
