John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers premiered their outrageous action-thriller 'From Paris with Love' in New York Thursday night, and John talked to "The Insider" about his mercy mission to Haiti! John and wife Kelly Preston flew 22 doctors plus medics along with several tons of supplies to earthquake-stricken Haiti with the help of Qantas, and he said, "The important part of this is that the supplies that we brought were able to stay with those doctors. … They've handled hundreds of people already." In 'From Paris with Love,' in theaters February 5, John sports a bold bald look and a dastardly goatee as Charlie Wax, a loose-cannon CIA agent who takes low-level operative James Reese (Meyers) under his wing, giving him more action and bullet-dodging than he ever imagined possible as they attempt to thwart a terrorist attack. Actor John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston returned Wednesday to a Bahamas courthouse for a trial related to an alleged extortion attempt, and Travolta made some startling allegations. According to the Associated Press, Travolta said in court that a medic who is being investigated for allegedly attempting to extort money from him threatened to claim that Travolta was responsible for his son Jett's death last January. A week ago today, Travolta took the stand to talk about the day his 16-year-old son Jett died following a seizure, according to the AP. The AP reports that Travolta performed CPR on his chronically ill son after he and his wife were alerted to his son's condition when they were awakened at 10:15 a.m. by a nanny. The medic, Tarino Lightbourne, and a former senator, Pleasant Bridgewater, are being prosecuted in the trial for allegedly attempting to extort $25 million from the actor. The trial began last Tuesday and prosecutors are alleging that the paramedic who treated Travolta's late son threatened to go public with confidential information unless the actor paid him.

Two men are being prosecuted in the trial for allegedly attempting to extort $25 million from the actor. The trial began on Tuesday and prosecutors are alleging that the paramedic who treated Travolta's late son Jett, 16, threatened to go public with confidential information unless the actor paid him. Travolta testified on Wednesday about the day his son died, according to the Associated Press. The AP reports that Travolta performed CPR on his chronically ill son after he and his wife were alerted to his son's condition when they were awakened at 10:15 a.m. by a nanny. The AP reported that the alleged plot sprang from a document that would have released the emergency crew from liability if the Travoltas refused an ambulance. Police say, according to the AP, that John Travolta signed the document only because he first wanted to take his son to the airport instead of a hospital, but that did not happen.
