Kelly Overton Biography
Kelly Overton studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and graduated with the highest honor, The Charles Jehlinger Award. While in New York she performed in Off-Broadway shows, regional Shakespeare, day time TV and guest-starred on "The Job". She made her Broadway debut as Elaine Robinson in "The Graduate" starring opposite Kathleen Turner and Jason Biggs. Her career brought her west after 5 years in New York. Since moving to LA she has guest-starred on "Without A Trace", "The Practice", "The Division", "CSI: NY" and "Close To Home". She also landed the lead in her first feature film "Breaking Dawn" which was a final selection in the 2005 Hollywood Film Festival. She was featured in "The Ring 2", Hallmark's "Wedding Daze" with John Larroquette and the soon to be released in July "Desolation Canyon". Kelly starred in her first pilot with Gina Girshon in the Joel Silver produced "The Studio" for UPN and ABC's pilot "Twenty Questions". She recently finished shooting Stephen Kings "Desperation" for ABC which is due out in May 2006. She's making her LA stage debut in June at The Stellar Adler Theatre in "Me Too" an original play by Mark Goffman.Trivia
