Julie Christie is a Hollywood icon. She appeared on the big screen for the first time in 1962 and has been in dozens of Hollywood hits since. Her first big hit was Billy Liar (1963), and she followed that up with roles in other classics like Doctor Zhivago (1965), McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) and Heaven Can Wait (1978). She left the spotlight for several years before staging her comeback with a role in Hamlet (1996).
