Blonde Ambition star Jessica Simpson has a new ambition: to play the role of Vivian Ward in the remake of Pretty Woman. The character was originally played by Julia Roberts. "She thinks this one's got hit written all over it," says a source. Aside from Blonde Ambition, Simpson has recently filmed Major Movie Star. Both movies are said to have limited release. Blonde Ambition will be released into eight theatres in Texas, Simpson's hometown, and then will go straight to DVD. Major Movie Star will likely have the same destiny. The former Mrs. Lachey thinks starring on the remake of the movie will be a success. Joe Simpson, her manager father, is very confident that Jessica will be a hit.
