Former "American Idol" champ Jordin Sparks will be opening for Britney Spears on the second North American leg of her hit "Circus" tour, says a blog post on Britney's official Web site. "Britney's show is incredible and for me to be a part of it is a great opportunity," said Jordin. "Idol"'s season-six winner will perform at Britney concerts in cities such as NYC, L.A., Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit, Chicago and more before wrapping on September 26 and 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Jordin Sparks routines are so energetic they leave her "drenched" with sweat. The "Battlefield" singer - who shot to fame after winning U.S. TV talent show "American Idol" in 2007 - credits her support slot on The Jonas Brothers' tour for helping her lose weight.

Jordin Sparks has a stalker. The "Battlefield" singer - who won U.S. TV talent show "American Idol" in 2007 - revealed she started getting strange phone messages after one of her friends posted her number on the internet as a joke.

She explained to Sony Ericsson's Pocket TV: "I had the same cell phone number since seventh grade up to last summer, so a lot of people had my number. Somebody thought it would be funny to post it on MySpace. Loads of people got my number, and I had this person texting me going, 'I know this is you.
Miley Cyrus joined her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas onstage in Dallas, Texas to perform a special duet. The two sang the song "Before the Storm" to an excited crowd at the New Cowboys Stadium on Saturday. Former top 10 season six "American Idol" star Gina Glocksen, known for a colorful streak in her hair and her rocker voice, sang a little different tune New Year's Eve. The tune - "Going to the chapel and I'm gonna get married."

Glocksen, 24, married her longtime boyfriend, schoolteacher Joe Ruzicka, on New Year's Eve. Ruzicka popped the question to Glocksen in August of 2007 in front of a live audience in Illinois, where Glocksen and the other top 10 season six "Idol" contestants were performing.
