We have been fighting for years to keep Haslar open it was a royal gift to the royal navy years ago, it has served all the armed forces and a lot of civilian people. when my husband John Wallace f.r.i.b.a. was alive he wrote to all and sundry to point out the value and also ways to make it even more viable, half the time he got no reply.He died 4 years ago and I have been trying to carry on with a pretty hopeless task I was 80 in January , Its not for my benefit that I am pleading , but the young people  coming along behind me. You put up a magnificent fight and WON for the Gurkhas please would you have a word with the powers that be to think again about Haslar, of late I wrote to the Hospital trust, Prince Charles,David Cameron. I have copies of my letters and the replies which I would gladly forward to you if you give me an address  to post them to. thank you for taking the trouble to read this .
