I've donated a great deal of money over the years to various charities, which turned out to be less than reputable. I've gone to great lengths on occasion to verify just how effective they were. I have been disappointed many times. I'm well aware that equatorial Africa needs lots of help. Because Ms. Connelly is involved I'll send $20, and continue to send $20 monthly to dig wells. Her I trust ! As long as she is a sponsor I feel comfortable. Ms. Connelly is not a typical celebrity, and I know she spent time there on movies and knows first hand the problems these people face.
