If you are reading this, I would like to discuss the possibility of doing an article with you on my fight to go back to work. Important note: I am the woman you referred to in your article on raising funds for breast cancer, an article where CIBC and the CIBC Run for the Cure came off in a positive light. I stood up and presented the CEO with a book. When I stood up at last years's shareholder meeting - to which you referred -- I was in remission. In September 2008, the cancer has spread to my lungs, liver, bones and ovary. (The was a spaghetti squash sized tumour  -- 22cm x 14 x 8 -- in my rt ovary which was removed Oct 1st, 2008.)

CIBC is not walking the talk and I would like to tell my story. This year, I stood up again at the shareholders meeting (I am the first question in the Q&A session) and this time did not laud my employer. It should be noted that a fellow cancer survivor took up my case a few minutes later -- but was simply humoured by our CEO.

Seeking justice before I die...but hoping to be around for a while. Without justice, I'm not sure how long I can hang one. My battle with CIBC has been far more debilitiating than the cancer. For now, I am well enough to work out 5 times a week - blessed with strong constitution I guess -- and I'm well enough to go back to work.
