Her first acting role was for a Publishers Clearing House commercial when she was two years old.
Her sister, Jennifer McComb, introduced her to future husband James Van Der Beek after having worked with him in an episode of "Dawson's Creek" (1998). Jennifer played Ursula in the famous "Friday the 13th" episode, broadcast in May 1998.
