Miley Cyrus' co-star wants a "Hannah Montana" movie sequel to be made. Emily Osment - who plays Miley's on-screen best friend Lilly Truscott in the movie and TV series - is desperate to work alongside the outspoken starlet on a follow-up movie or stage show.

She explained: "I don't think anyone wants to see 'Hannah Montana' ever end, so I think we need to do that. We need to do something like 'Hannah Montana Goes to London' or 'Hannah Montana on Ice!'"
Miley Cyrus and her alter ego Hannah Montana are finally on the big screen today in Disney's 'Hannah Montana: The Movie,' and we sat down with the star's on and off screen dad Billy Ray! "We made the film -- for just in case somebody out there has not seen the series -- to be a stand alone movie that is independent of the series," Billy Ray tells our Ross Mathews. In her fun-filled, big-screen musical adventure, Miley Stewart (Miley) is struggling to juggle school, her friends and her secret pop-star persona, Hannah Montana. Much to the dismay of her loved ones, she's choosing to be a media darling instead of a daughter to Robby Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus), sister to Jackson (Jason Earles) and best friend to Lilly (Emily Osment). With the spotlight threatening to consume his daughter, Robby Ray decides to get Miley back on track and takes the family back home to Grandma Ruby's (Margo Martindale) Tennessee farm in Crowley Corners. Initially out of her element, Miley soon finds romance (with Lucas) and learns a thing or two about what it means to truly live life out of the spotlight. With Billy Ray and Miley's homestate of Tennessee being such a big part of the movie, Ross asks Billy Ray if he ever wishes to be back there permanently. "No, I love being out here in L.A. making movies," he says. "I'm loving acting."
