"The Insider" has the latest... As her interview series with Diane Sawyer continues, Rihanna reveals her true feelings for Chris Brown. Although Brown made a public apology, the singer says she could not forgive her ex for brutally beating her. "I just said to him, 'I can't do this.' I resented him," she says. "I always put the tough face on and try to, I can do anything face, and just try to play it off. But he knew." She adds: "He kept asking me, 'You hate me, don't you?'" Rihanna says. "And I would lie and I would say, 'No, no.' And... I did hate him. Everything about him annoyed me." Perhaps that's because she saw a side to Chris that shocked her that night, as she says, "It wasn't the same person that says I love you. It was not those ... eyes," she said on "GMA." "He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank... He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him."

In a revealing interview with Diane Sawyer, an emotional Rihanna, 21, recalls the abuse she endured while dating singer Chris Brown and why, following that terrifying night before the Grammy Awards, she went back to him. In her first sit-down interview since her highly publicized domestic dispute with Brown, Rihanna tells Sawyer she was embarrassed that she "fell in love with that person...so unconditional that I went back." "You start lying to yourself the minute the physical wounds go away," she says on Thursdays "Good Morning America." "That's a memory you don't want to have ever again." Tears welling up, the pop singer continues, "When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. ... I couldn't be held responsible for telling them to go back." The pop star had this message, "Don't react off of love. ... Love is so blind." Rihanna's sit down with Sawyer continues on "GMA" on Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 a.m. ET -- and then on Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. ET on "20/20." Following the domestic violence incident, Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, community labor and one year of domestic violence counseling.

In a new interview with MTV News, Chris Brown recalls the domestic dispute with Rihanna the night before the Grammy Awards and asks himself, "What was I thinking?" "Why did it happen? ... What was wrong with you?" the R&B singer responds to MTV correspondent Sway when asked to reflect back on the night of the highly publicized incident. Following the domestic dispute, Brown was sentenced to five years of probation, community labor and one year of domestic violence counseling. In “Chris Brown: The Interview," premiering on the cable channel November 6, the singer says that he's currently trying to get back on track. "How do you, Chris, go from point A to point B?" he asks himself. "How do you learn from your mistakes, turn it into a positive and help other people with the situation ... and at the end of the day become the person that you want to be?" ABC News has announced that Brown's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, will sit down with Diane Sawyer in an interview that is scheduled to air on "Good Morning America" on Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 a.m. ET -- and then on Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. ET on "20/20." Rihanna tells Diane, "The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other."

"The Insider" confirms that Diane Sawyer is saying farewell to "Good Morning America" and hello to nightly news. Sawyer will be replacing Charlie Gibson on ABC's "World News" beginning in January.  Gibson has been the anchor of "World News" since May 2006, after replacing Elizabeth Vargas and Bob Woodruff.

"The Insider" was there as Diane Sawyer, along with her producer husband Mike Nichols, and others arrived to the wake of the late Natasha Richardson at New York City's American Irish Historical Society on Friday.   Watch the video to see the somber attendees make their way into the building, where Richardson's husband Liam Neeson and their two sons, her mother Vanessa Redgrave and her sister Joely Richardson were gathered inside. Richardson, 45, tragically passed away on Wednesday following a skiing accident on Monday.

"The Insider" broke the news on Tuesday that new dad Clay Aiken has come out with his sexual identity, and now we have a first look at his revealing two-part interview with Diane Sawyer on today's "Good Morning America."   "I can't raise a kid and teach him how to lie, teach him to hide things; I can't raise a kid and teach him to keep secrets," the singer tells Sawyer about his decision to publicly acknowledge that he's gay. "And at the same time, I also don't ever want to raise him in an environment where it's not okay for him to be exactly who he is, no matter what." The former "American Idol" runner-up is currently performing on Broadway in Spamalot and released his fourth studio album, On My Way Here, this summer. He graces the cover of the new People magazine, on newsstands tomorrow, with the headline, "Yes, I'm Gay," pictured cradling his newborn son Parker, born via in vitro fertilization. "[It's] an obvious time to just, you know, let the guard down and say, 'I have a responsibility for someone other than myself now,'" the performer tells Sawyer. Clay has been a special correspondent for "The Insider," performing on our stage, interviewing stars on the "Reba" set and even covering the 2005 Emmys for us. In the fall of 2006, he revealed his frustration with being dogged incessantly by the question of his sexuality. "I understand 'Clay Aiken leads a really boring life' is not a good headline and you have to sell a paper," he told Lara Spencer in a very candid interview. "I'm trying to get to that point where I just don't care anymore. You can't change people's minds, and I want to sing. That's what I like doing and I enjoy my job. I guess I hate to say it, but you gotta take the good with the bad, because sometimes it's baaaad." He also revealed that he had turned to the prescription drug Paxil to cope with anxiety, and how it helped him to deal with the stress of fame. "It's hard to do this business without maturing a little," he said. "I'm much more savvy now. I'm much more aware of my surroundings, of business.
