She was engaged to John Levi, who was a police officer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, who was killed in the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
Auditioned for the role of Marty in Grease. It was narrowed down to Debralee Scott and Dinah Manoff. Although Scott was better known at the time (and closer to the age of others already cast), Manoff got the part.
