On Tuesday night's "Dancing with the Stars," Kate Gosselin and Pam Anderson found themselves in the bottom two. It was ultimately the reality TV mom of eight Kate who got the boot. She took the news tearfully, telling host Tom Bergeron, "I need a minute," as she used a tissue to dab tears from her eyes, but received a standing ovation from the supportive audience. Kate said that she had had a gut feeling that she would be going home tonight, but said, "It's okay. … I'm very, very honored to have been here." When it came to all of her supporters who voted for her, she was awed, saying, "Wow -- thank you for believing in me, probably more than I believe in myself." Her partner Tony had nothing but love for his single-mom-of-eight partner, saying, "You know what, I'm very proud of Kate. … I give her all the credit in the world, for showing up, as exhausted as she was." "I was scared to death," Kate acknowledged of her time on the competition, but said that it's her nature to "give it [her] all" when it comes to a challenge. As a final send-off she mimed "I love you," to the camera, no doubt intending it as a message to her eight children watching. The night's episode featured performances from Grammy winning R&B singer Maxwell, Costa Rican songstress Debi Nova, and dance numbers coordinated by Marguerite Derricks and introduced by Debbie Allen. "Dancing with the Stars" airs on Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
