The beautiful blonde actress - famed for her past mermaid movie Splash - was almost sold as a sex slave in the late 1970s. The 46-year-old star was studying in Los Angeles when she was offered a modeling job for an album cover in Las Vegas. As soon as she arrived, she though something was fishy. She was right - it was a scam. If she didn't escape she would have been sucked into sex slavery. Hannah and another girl went through a bathroom window to escape the horrible mishap. The memories of the terrible incident still haunt Hannah. Hannah is now helping other girls in the same situation by creating a low-budget film. There are about 14,000 girls being smuggled into America annually from Eastern Europe and Asia. Hannah has joined forces with international human rights organizations to help free sex slaves.
