Sister of Frank von Zerneck Jr.,
Best remembered for her portrayal of Donna, the blonde Anglo girlfriend of Lou Diamond Phillips in La Bamba (1987), the biopic of ill-fated pop singer Ritchie Valens.
One of her first professional jobs was at age 16 on "General Hospital" wherein she played Lou Swenson. She was murdered off the show after two seasons.
