Is of French descent.
Wrote songs on The New Radicals album in 1998. In 2003, Clay Aiken recorded one of her songs, "Perfect Day" on his album "Measure of A Man."
Jay-Z used a sample of her voice from when she was in "Annie" for his song "Hard Knock Life".
Co-wrote the single "Unwritten" with Natasha Bedingfield and Waybe Rodrigues.
