Reuters - Condoleezza Rice has agreed to a book deal with Crown Publishers starting with a memoir of her eight years under former U.S. President George W. Bush, first as national security adviser and then as secretary of state.
The William Morris Agency has announced that it has signed former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice as a client. The former professor has been in the Bush administration since its beginning but her appointment ended Tuesday afternoon when Barack Obama was sworn in as president.

There was much competition to try and nab Rice as a client. She was very thorough about the process and ultimately her goal was to choose the agency she would feel most comfortable with, speaking on her behalf.
