Aunt of actress Janel Moloney.
She adopted her three children with Moloney. One is black and the other two are Asian.
Studied at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Played Ado Annie in a major Broadway production of "Oklahoma!" at the Majestic Theater in 1979.
