Early work in improvisational comedy. Was an original member of Gerard Alessandrini's hilariously musical satire "Forbidden Broadway," creating devastating song parodies on everyone from Andrea McArdle and Mary Martin to Carol Channing and Angela Lansbury. The show started in cabaret form in December of 1981 and made it to off-Broadway in 1982.

Studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music and Drama. Trained in voice technique by Dr. David Fairchild who graduated from Syracuse Univ.

Won several Los Angeles based stage acting awards: Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and Dramalogue Award for "The Model Apartment" (1988) and a Drama-Logue Award for "The House of Blue Leaves" (1987).
