Prince Charles announced. The civil wedding will take place in Windsor Castle on 8 April 2005. She will use the title HRH The Duchess of Cornwall from then on.
The Royal wedding was moved to Saturday to allow Charles to attend the funeral of
Pope John Paul II at the Vatican on Friday 8 April.
Legally she is entitled to use the style "HRH the Princess of Wales", but (with the Queen's permission) she is styled "HRH the Duchess of Cornwall" everywhere but Scotland. In Scotland she is styled "HRH the Duchess of Rothesay" since her husband is the Duke of Rothesay.
