Brittany did such a bang-up job of playing the snobby Jessica Wakefield on Sweet Valley High (at least according to our younger female relatives) that we thought we had her pegged as just another snooty child star, doomed by pickiness in approaching roles. The work she has done since has both reinforced her status as a talented actress, and proven her as one of great range. After starring alongside her twin sister Cynthia in the TV series Sweet Valley High and 1995's The Basketball Diaries, Brittany embarked on a solo career, taking on the roles of a devious temptress in Dawson's Creek and a white trash hottie in Joe Dirt.
