I really hope that this is not true, because I really love the new season.  I started off as a die hard  O.C. fan back when it first made it's debut, but then the show started to get boring and the plot lines started lacking.  Just when it starts to get good again, they decide to pull the plug!

According to sources, FOX will air the last episode of The O.C. Feb 22, and the four-season-old series will go off the air for good.  Sadly, despite the creative kick this season (and the addition of Autumn Reeser aka Taylor) the ratings have not been strong enough for FOX execs to justify a fifth season.

However, sources at the CW network is "extremely interested" in picking up The O.C. for the following season.
