She is the daughter of Mexican actress, Angélica MarÃa , and the late prolific Venezuelan songwriter, Raúl Vale.
Her father (Raul Vale) past away in a Houston hospital after a battle with cancer in december 2003. On the day of his decease Angelica was in Monterrey, Mexico with her parody and comedy stage show. Although visibly affected by the her father's passing, she declined to cancel her encore presentation and offered the performance in memory of her father.
