Grew up in El Paso, Texas, USA.
Received a full scholarship to the prestigious Wellesley College in Massachusetts
Received a BA in drama from the University of Texas.
At the age of four her father died and her mother moved with Ana and her three brothers to El Paso, Texas where she has won a beauty contest at the age of sixteen.
Also works as a national spokeswoman for The Humane Society.
