UPDATE: An autopsy on Tuesday found Jacob Adams who was 40 years old did not die as a result of the bites from Ving Rhames' dogs, and that he was healthy in every other way.  Police reported that Adams who has been living in  Ving Rhames home for the past two years, worked as his professional stand-in, was seen  outside of the home at about 8pm last Thursday but half an hour later, friends called him and received no answer.

The L.A. coroner's office said that most of the bites were superficial.  Adams didn't die of a heart attack either and didn't have any clogged arteries.  His body is now being sent in for toxicology tests.

Lt. Lombardo believes the dogs were trying to help him by pulling on him because they sensed something wrong as  there were no bites on the head or neck. One of the dogs is so old it hardly has any teeth! However, on Tuesday, the dogs were still in the custody of animal control.  I hope they get released soon.
