Tony Ganios Biography
Equipped with door wide shoulders, big biceps and standing 6' 5" tall, its easy to see how Tony Ganios was cast in his first film role as the quick fisted, loner "Perry" in the sensational teen "coming of age" film The Wanderers. Ganios was well received by the public, and appeared next in _Bad Roads (1981)_ and Continental Divide, before another "coming of age" film beckoned, and he was cast as "Meat Tuperallo" in the crude, but highly popular Porky's. Ganios repeated the popular role in Porky's II: The Next Day and Porky's 3: Revenge. He had formed a friendship with fellow actor Ken Wahl whom he met during "The Wanderers" shoot, and appeared alongside him in several episodes of Wahl's TV series "Wiseguy" and the movie The Taking of Beverly Hills. His last film appearance to date (coincidentally as another character named "Perry") was in the crime thriller Rising Sun.
