Trivia
He helped in designing and building the rigging that gave John Reynolds' character Torgo his trademark misshapen knees in Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966). He also painted the self-portrait that hung in the living room and made the iron sculptures of hands that appeared in the film.
He later moved with his daughter to California, and eventually to the Pacific Northwest.
