Went to Fordham University in New York. Got his "big break" as Denzel Washington (also attending Fordham) had to drop out of school production of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" and Thomas took over the lead role of Oberon.
He is a member of New York's Actor's Studio and Circle Repertory Lab.
