theinsider.com - "Survivor: Samoa"'s Kelly Sharbaugh (ex-Galu) was bushwacked at Thursday night's Tribal Council when Russell Hantz (ex-Foa Foa) once again found and played the Immunity Idol to keep him safe. Even though the tribes have merged, there is still a division between Foa Foa and Galu, with Galu having numbers on its side. But with Russell playing the Immunity Idol, all the votes against him didn't count -- and those that Russell had pre-arranged against Kelly did. ET: When the tribes merged, did Galu have any idea that Russell was as devious as he is? Kelly Sharbaugh: We knew that he was the mastermind behind everything [at Foa Foa], we knew he was super sneaky and calling all the shots, I had no idea it was to the level it was … finding Immunity Idols on his own. Even watching the first few episodes when he was burning his teammates' things and pouring out the water, it has to be terrible. It is rough out there anyway, especially the first few days. My parents were, "Thank God you weren't on his tribe." ET: Now that you are watching it, what surprised you the most? Kelly Sharbaugh: I guess I was surprised by the guy alliance on the Galu tribe. I was so tight with the guys. We had talked about how Galu would go six strong. It was always a mixture of guys and girls. ET: In hindsight now, I am wondering if it was a smart move to vote off Erik, lessening Galu's numbers. Foa Foa with small numbers managed to get a Galu member voted off last night, which was you. Do you think voting off Erik was a girl-power thing? Kelly Sharbaugh: I think Erik was a mistake. We should have never sent him home. We planned to split the vote, purge out Russell's idol and then send someone from Foa Foa home. Then last minute, John is running around talking about we needed to send Monica home. I started talking to people and we realized that John and Erik were scheming to send one of us home. We felt like someone on our tribe scheming against us was more of a danger than a Foa Foa member, who had no numbers. So last minute we decided to send Erik. Obviously, Shambo was never with us, so really, it was much more dangerous than we thought sending one of our own home. It was a decision I wish I could take back. ET: I think Shambo is playing both sides against the middle? Kelly Sharbaugh: I think she has definitely gone over to the other side. I think she is playing a game trying to let Galu think she is with them. There were those last night that she was so shocked about the vote. ET: Who do you think has the right stuff to make it to the final two? Kelly Sharbaugh: I think Shambo is going to get herself eliminated. I think, depending on what happens this week, if Russell stays another week, he has the strategy to go all the way. I think physically and competitor-wise Brett is lined up the best right now. I think he has the best alignment and everybody likes him. And physically he is a good competitor that everyone has overlooked. ET: Laura has emerged as a strong contender, too. Kelly Sharbaugh: I think Laura has always been strong. She is a beast at challenges. If Laura keeps winning Immunity, I think she will go all the way, too. I think she has a target on her back from Shambo and Russell, so she needs to keep winning challenges. ET: As a jury member, how will you decide? Will tribal loyalty play a big part in your decision to give someone the $1 million, or will you vote for the person who best played the game? Kelly Sharbaugh: I think that since Galu was together for so long and had such a good run -- it was a positive time for us because we were doing so well and winning -- I would hope that someone from Galu would win. I never got much of a chance to get to know Foa Foa. There is a lot to base your vote on. I think Russell is doing a good strategic job, but is he making the emotional connections? On the other hand, the people that are making the emotional connections, are people going to feel they are playing a good game? ET: Would you change your vote if you had seen the show before you had to vote? Kelly Sharbaugh: I think before I watched the show, I would have changed my vote, but watching the show now, I am glad I voted the way I did. ET: What was the hardest part for you? Kelly Sharbaugh: Maybe being a woman -- women are able to deal with things differently than men -- I never got to the point where I was, "I can't do this any longer." I think coming out of the game, it was hard physically to eat again and sleep again. All I wanted to do was sleep, eat and drink, but it was the hardest thing for the first few days … my body allowing me to do that. "Survivor: Samoa" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m.
'survivor''s Erik Cardona Was Totally Blindsided

theinsider.com - The four-member Foa Foa tribe merged with the eight-member Galu tribe on last week's episode of "Survivor: Samoa," and it looked to be a sure bet that Galu would knock off the Foa Foa members one, two, three, four. But they surprised everyone by voting off one of their own: Erik Cardona. "The Insider" talks to the ousted castaway to get his take on the game. "The Insider": Last week's vote was a total blindside. Do you think it was a done deal in camp, or do you think the things you said at Tribal Council, where you sounded so confident, could have changed people's minds? Erik Cardona: If anything, the things that I said at Tribal Council -- and they didn't show the whole thing for time reasons -- there was a lot of "Go Purple! Rah! Rah! Rah!" and "I am loyal, I am bleeding purple until I die," and "No matter what the color of our buff, I am purple underneath." There was a lot of that, so, actually, the words I said at Tribal Council should have helped me. It might have cemented my fate with Foa Foa, but my fate with Foa Foa was already cemented four episodes ago, when I stared down at them and said, "How dare you talk about momentum, and how dare you try to take advantage of the loss of our leader! We are going to come at you harder now." I knew I didn't have a friend in the Foa Foa camp but I didn't care. It was pretty clear that the agenda was to take them down and be done with it. But it didn't play out that way, so I was very confident and aggressive. But it was mostly a dog and pony show. I wanted them to believe that they had no chance, even if they did. The more that they checked out, the less it would mess up with our group dynamics. Second, when I talked about our group dynamics, saying that we were strong and a cohesive unit that was supposed to be a reminder to Galu. None of that was presupposing that I was on the chopping block. That makes it more genuine. I had no idea. If I was just saying that stuff because I was scrambling, I would have played my Immunity Idol. I really believed the things I was saying. I couldn't believe they weren't on the same page. "The Insider": Do you think this was a girl-power move? Erik Cardona: No. I have seen a lot of things leading up to this on the Internet saying "risky move isolating the girls." They weren't our enemies. They were still our friends. They had no idea the four Galu men were going [to the final four]. They were still trying to figure it out. There was no girls/guys division. I think it was solely Laura. I was a strong individual player in this game. As soon as my name came up [for elimination], she got a little bit greedy and said, "Wait a minute. I have a chance to get Erik here? Great. I think I can get away with it without jeopardizing my tribe." Maybe she is right; maybe she is wrong. "The Insider": What's it like now that you are home and watching it on TV? Any surprises? Erik Cardona: When Russell poured the water out on day one, you just don't know what it is like to live without water. Being starving and hungry, I get that. That happens. When you can't make fire, like we couldn't in the first three days, and you can't drink water, your body shuts down and you lose your mind. It is so devastating. It is probably the most crippling physical experience I have gone through. To see him pour their water out as if it was nothing, I tell you something, that would be the worst thing he could have done in our tribe. Honestly, if I had to get axed from the game because I was choking this guy because he was pouring our water out, our life sustenance, it probably would have been a good way to go. I can't believe he had the stones to do that. I also can't believe nobody called him on that. If four canteens are missing water, nobody is going anywhere until we figure out what went down. I am not buying it was an accident. I can't believe Foa Foa didn't get to the bottom of it. You can see Russell come over to our camp and try to plant his seeds, but he just looks like a desperate, scrambling man. If he pulled that on us, he would have been gone at the first Tribal Council. But that is the funny thing about this game. He is still there. "The Insider": Any predictions as to what the Tribe is thinking about Russell? He blew it using the Immunity Idol. There isn't one left to play now, and he revealed to the others that he was a liar, don't you think? Erik Cardona: I talked to him about that: "Dude, we get your hard work and that you don't want to give up, but you go around making promises to everybody, it is almost like you are promising nobody. You are sealing your own fate. I don't like you because you are wearing yellow and you are on the low end of this totem pole. I am not saying I want to keep you in this game, but as a human being, bro, you need to lock it up and shut up." How did he take it? As if I was telling him to roll over and play dead. He came in and thought he could steamroll us. He revealed himself to be this sleazy dude who promised to take everybody to the final two. Everybody knows it now. "The Insider": Do you have a prediction as to who could go all the way? Erik Cardona: I am so jaded. I spent three weeks fighting Foa Foa and then was stabbed in the back by every single person who was wearing purple. I would root for Shambo, because we protected each other but I don't think she would be the best bet. John was kind of on the outskirts, because if there was trouble in camp, they thought it would be me or him, so if they went after me, I wouldn't be surprised if they went after him next. I would say Brett. Brett is my prediction to go all the way because he was low to the radar and he is an intelligent guy. "The Insider": You are the first member of the jury. What will affect your decision? Will their pleas change your mind? Erik Cardona: My decision is going to be made going into that final Tribal Council, but it is going to be a combination of what I know in the game and what may transpire at every Tribal Council coming up. There is nothing that anybody is going to say that will sway my decision. First of all, it is last minute desperation talk. Second of all, I will have food and nourishment and I will be able to comprehend what is going on. These people are going to be 39 days totally dilapidated. If there are Foa Foa members there, it will be hard to pick a deserving winner, because I only spent one day with them. But with Galu, it is going to be really tough because they all stabbed me in the back. You have got to watch out for everybody in this game. "Survivor: Samoa" airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS.
In today's episode, she brings you Lara's crisp, business casual look. Read below to see Anya's answers to your fashion inquiries and keep those questions coming! Q: Where is your big gold ring from? A: Thanks for noticing. My gold ring is a flower from designer Helen Ficalora. She makes great charms that I wear a lot as well. Check out her Web site -- www.helenficalora.com Q: Can you wear short-sleeved cardigans with long-sleeve button-downs or T-shirts under them? A: The answer is, not really. Long-sleeve cardigans can have long-sleeve underpinnings, but short-sleeve cardigans need a short-sleeve blouse, camisole or shift dress underneath. This way, you won’t have the added bulk of a sleeve under your sweater! No one wants to add bulk to their arm. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule -- you could rock a very thin v-neck long-sleeved tee with a short-sleeved v-neck cardigan over with the sleeves pushed up…for a more casual look, but proceed with caution! Q: What color shoes would you wear with a cranberry-colored dress to a wedding? A: You are so ahead of the game! I just did a tip about the “berry family” being the “must-have” colors for fall -- raspberry, cranberry and blueberry -- so I love that you asked about cranberry. Try a pair of light gold, peep-toe shoes with a cranberry dress to be a fashionista at the wedding -- and don’t forget your gold clutch! Q: This segment is the best part of this Web site. Keep up the good work - I watch every day. A: Thank you so much! That means the world to me! Tell all your friends about “Ask Anya” and keep the great fashion questions coming! Amber Rose is her name, and whip your sorry ass is the game she loves to play. I’d be very happy to play with Amber on a rainy afternoon, especially because this type of game play involves nudity and a whip. What else can I fantasize about Amber Rose?

google.com - Charlize Theron was present at the US Open Tennis tournament, and although everybody was concentrated on the game play, there were some smart paparazzi cautious enough to immortalize a very hot scene: Charlize Theron biting from a guy’s chocolate icecream. You may find this silly, but believe me there’s more sexual tension hidden in this picture then in a Jenna Jamesson movie. Check her out!

theinsider.com - He quickly became a fan favorite in the "Big Brother" house, now Jeff talks to "The Insider" about his feelings for Jordan -- and his biggest regret! INSIDER: How does it make you feel to know that America wanted you to go all the way for the win? JEFF: It makes me feel great! I didn’t realize until I got out of the house. I was overwhelmed by the response. I really appreciate it (thanks, America!). At least not winning, it’s awesome to know that people were on my side and that makes the pill easier to swallow. INSIDER: What’s up with you and Jordan? JEFF: It’s hard to develop a romantic relationship under those circumstances. The friendship that we have is definitely real, and the feelings I have on my end are definitely genuine. INSIDER: What is your honest opinion of Michele? JEFF: Michele was always a huge question mark to me, even to this day. I think her motives were real and heartfelt, but she’s the one person in the house that I could never truly figure out. INSIDER: After all of these weeks, why did you decide to trust Natalie and Kevin, two of the biggest schemers in the house? JEFF: It was either trust Natalie and Kevin, or Russell and Michele. Both sides were a big risk, in my eyes. Ultimately, I decided to take out the strongest player of the four, win Michele back on my side and take my chances (hoping I would have beaten Kevin and Natalie straight up). INSIDER: Any regrets? Do you think you could have done anything different to stay in the game? JEFF: No regrets. I put it all on my shoulders. I wish I would have won that last Power of Veto. If I had done so, I think I might have won the game. INSIDER: What’s the hardest part about being locked in the house? JEFF: The hardest part is, I think, the emotional roller coaster you go through on a daily basis. There’s a lot of down time and a lot of scheming going on every day. Having no connection to anything else but the game makes it that much more stressful. There are no breaks in the “BB” house!
theinsider.com - When "The Biggest Loser" returns for its eighth season on Sept. 15, the game will be slightly changed. The competition will still be stiff between the 16 contestants, but trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper will be working together, not overseeing individual teams. No more blue team vs. black team. "One of my favorite parts of working with Bob is -- and this is an analogy that I used -- we are like two leopards on the Serengeti and they are a herd. I am, 'Okay, I am going to split off this one and destroy them and Bob can wrangle the herd,'" Jillian says, explaining the advantage of the partnership. "Unfortunately, when we have teams, we don't have time to do that deeper work, because I don't have him training my other five contestants so I can destroy someone and break them down and get to the root of the issue." Bob agrees that it is important for them to get to the "why" with their overeaters, so that when they return home -- the place where they packed on the pounds in the first place -- the "Losers" have developed some tools to help them not gain the weight back. He thinks that the chance to have one-on-one time is an advantage. "Jillian is my No. 1 confidante," Bob says. "She is the one I can go to, but in seasons past, you never really saw that. Now you see our two forces joined together and I really think there was magic there." This season's theme is "Second Chances," and it is something that resonates with both trainers. "We have these contestants who have been to hell and back to be quite frank," Jillian says. "I think the most extreme is a woman [Abby] who lost her whole family in a car wreck. The idea is: How do we heal these old injuries and rehabilitate these contestants? Not just physically, but emotionally. We talk about diet and exercise, but the philosophy of the show has always been about life. …I want to get the message to America that we can turn any tragedy into a triumph with the right skill set and mind frame." "The Biggest Loser" returns Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
INSIDER: Do you really harbor bad feelings toward Jeff, who you called "an idiot," or do you feel he was just playing the game? RUSSELL: He played a great game and I have no hard feelings. INSIDER: Why did you give Jessie your vote -- especially after Jeff saved you and Jessie had no intention of keeping you that very same night? RUSSELL: I told Jessie that I would never vote to evict him. I was unsure if Michele would vote to keep him in the house and that would have been 3-2 vote in Jessie’s favor to stay. INSIDER: Were you just playing the game, like "Ronnie the rat" -- who told us that he's only a bad guy on TV? RUSSELL: It’s a character I chose to play in the game. I decided to be the villain. It was all just an act. INSIDER: Any regrets? Would you do anything differently? RUSSELL: I would have found the Laura Banana. I never want a banana again. INSIDER: You said you hoped Michele wins. Were you trying to comfort her or is she your pick to take it all? RUSSELL: I was just trying to comfort her and get her vote. "Big Brother" airs on CBS Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Thursdays & Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
THE INSIDER: What do you think of the housemates calling you "Ronnie the Rat"? RONNIE: I find it funny because I’m not really a rat, I just play one on TV. THE INSIDER: When I talked Casey, he said he felt you were just playing the game, and not really a "rat." Were you putting on an act? RONNIE: Yes, I was absolutely just playing a game by my own terms that included lying and manipulation. THE INSIDER: Any regrets? RONNIE: If I were to have one regret, I should have back-doored Russell when I had the chance. THE INSIDER: Did you feel that "brains," "athletes," and the rest were fair groupings? RONNIE: Absolutely, they were fair. Everyone in their own groups had their own strengths and weaknesses. THE INSIDER: Do you think you played a good game? RONNIE: I feel that up until week two I played a perfect game. After that, I feel I did the best damage control possible. THE INSIDER: Favorite housemate? Least favorite? RONNIE: Chima…she’s a true survivor. Russell I had time to think about it last night and he made more personal attacks against me which, as I said about Michele, is unacceptable. THE INSIDER: Who do you pick to win? RONNIE: I’d like Chima to win, but I think Jeff is going to win, I really do. "Big Brother" airs on CBS Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Thursdays & Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
