There will be a new member of the family when ‘Family Feud’ begins its new season next fall. According to the Associated Press, Steve Harvey will be replacing John O’Hurley. FremantleMedia North America, the company that backs “American Idol,” produces the hit game show in which two families face off in a trivia-type contest. The company said they chose Harvey for his “one-of-a-kind” personality and attribute of connecting to audiences. After hosting the show for four seasons, O’Hurley told the AP that he is leaving his post to focus on his role in the traveling production of “Chicago” and other career opportunities.[Read full story on The Insider]
