He has held the WCW World Title 10 times, and has been the US, Tag, TV, and the US tag champ. He served in the US Army. He has been the only wrestler to stay in WCW since the late 1980s and he had knee surgery in 1991.


In 1995 Steve Borden trademarked the name 'Sting' in the US, specifically for use in wrestling. Has been a member of the nWo and the Millionaires' Club. Made his professional wrestling debut as a member of a tag team called "The Blade Runners" with his partner "Rock", not "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson) Made his Pro wrestling debut in 1985 when he joined a group of Wrestlers known as Power Team USA. His Scorpion Death Lock Finisher is the same as Bret Hart's Sharpshooter. Wrestled in the first and last episodes of WCW Monday Nitro, both against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
