It sounds like the theme of this year's MTV party is "MTV Goes Gold," and the party's organizers will have the fashion police out in full force at the bash, ensuring party-goers abide by the theme. "All attendees must dress with a Midas touch so everyone can let their personal styles shine through in all its golden glory," an invite advises style-savvy creatures-of-the-night.

The party, which will be held at MTV's iconic studios in NYC's Times Square, will be hosted by MTV's roster of hotter-than-hot VJs: Vanessa Minnillo, Damien Fahey, Susie Castillo, Cipha Sounds and Stephen Coletti.  Performances by AFI, Chamillionaire, Ciara, Lady Sovereign, My Chemical Romance and Three 6 Mafia will end the evening with a big bang. Don't forget about those special guests either, Fall Out Boy and Heroes star Hayden Panitierre are expected to attend as well.
