Simon Cowell has reportedly slammed the current contestants for season 7 on American Idol, insisting they have no personality. He claims that the singers aren't taking enough risks with their  or song choices.  He said:

"They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections. We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more. You cannot deliver an uninspired performance at the top of the show. And you can't be up there imitating another singer."

Well, he's right for the most part.  Kristy Lee Cook who was the most recent Idol wannabe to receive the boot lacked both personality and talent. On the other hand, David Cook seems to have the momentum to win the show because of his interesting song choices.
