The 22-year-old actor - who stars alongside Hollywood beauty Megan Fox in the blockbuster - was forced to work 28-hour shifts to get the movie finished on time.
Shia LaBeouf says it "makes sense" for him to date Megan Fox. The Hollywood actor admits he has a huge crush on his "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" co-star and is upset she only wants to be friends.

The "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" actor was delighted to hear a girl called Samantha was waiting to meet him outside the studio of U.S. talk show "Today," and seemed even more enamored when footage of her was beamed onto the screen next to him Thursday.

After watching Samantha give a small interview, Shia said: "I like Samantha a lot. She seems like a real special person. I would love to meet her - is she here?"

The movie earned $55 million in one day, surpassing the previous Wednesday record-holder 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.'

Shia LaBeouf gave up drinking whisky because it turned him into a "werewolf." The "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" actor intends to quit drinking any alcohol and stop smoking because both habits have a negative effect on him.

He said: "I had to give up scotch, because it turns me into a werewolf - and cigarettes too. I seem to like to kiss trouble on the forehead and then try to back away. I test my limits quite often. I guess that's what 22-year-olds do. But I'm fallible and human and I'm figuring it out."
Shia LaBeouf was bullied for being a Disney Channel star. The "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" actor - who rose to fame when he appeared in several children's TV shows - was teased by his peers for finding fame so young.

Megan says that although making this movie was more difficult than the original in 2007, this one is better and has more action and comedy. Shia talks about the challenge of appearing in a movie with high-tech creatures, saying the actors have to keep up with the special effects to make it believable. Director Michael Bay says working on the project was like first doing a live action picture and then doing another animation movie and melding the two. He says the movie was a challenge but he likes that he is able to show audiences all over the globe "a new kind of world." 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' hits U.S. theaters June 24.
