His band 30 Seconds to Mars's second single from the album "A Beautiful Lie", "the Kill" made history by being the longest running song in history.
His band has won many awards like: The MTV2 Award at the 2006 VMAs, Vidoe Most Inspired by a Film at the 2006 Chainsaw Awards,The Best Live Action VIdoe at the 2006 Woodie Awards ,Best Rock Video and Video of the Year at the 2007 Austrialia Vidoe Music Awarsds,while his brother Jared Leto the singer won the prince of Darkness at the 2006 Chainsaw Awards and Best Crossover Artist and the Hollywood Life Breakthrough Awards.
Leto is also a guitar and piano player.
