Seann William Scott Biography
A native of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Seann William Scott was discovered at a talent competition in Los Angeles, and almost immediately was flown to New York by ABC to test for "All My Children." His face has also been seen from his basketball playing appearance on a national Sunny Delight commercial and the recent American Express campaign with Magic Johnson.
Seann was also seen on Something So Right for ABC. Seann shot a lead role in Aerosmith's music video, Hole in My Soul from the Nine Lives CD. Previously Seann has worked with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (of Saved by the Bell) and Talia Shire (Rocky) on the NBC movie of the week, Born into Exile, and has had a recurring role in the Warner Brothers TV series
Unhappily Ever After, as well as appearing on Sweet Valley High.

He was once robbed by street gang members in South Central L.A. They took his shirt, his shoes, and a one-dollar bill while he was trying to get to a "Baywatch" (1989) audition.

While vacationing in Australia after finishing American Pie (1999), Seann was approached by a man who asked if his daughter could have an autograph since she was such a big fan of the movie. Seann obliged, and was surprised to find out that the man's daughter - a rabid "American Pie" fan - was only 7 years old.

He was inspired to become an actor while working double shifts at the local movie theater and seeing all the movies he could watch.

After filming American Pie (1999), he was a "Churro" guy at the Los Angeles Zoo

Participated in the annual Drambuie Pursuit in Scotland. The Drambuie Pursuit takes place once a year and includes an archery contest on the first day and then a second day that includes kayaking, a castle run, boating, mountain biking, rock-climbing, rafting, cross-country biking, off-road buggy racing and canoing.
