Played the lead in music videos for artists Genuine, Maxwell, and The Braxtons.

Brother of June Sarpong.

2002 - won an AFI Independent film award for best supporting actor for his portrayal as Luis in the film "Street Kings" co-starring Jon Seda.

In 2007 selected as one of US Weekly's 'Hot 100' at the Young Hollywood Awards.

In July 2009, made history as the first model ever (male or female) to be featured in an exhibit at the California African American Museum. Sam was featured in a 10' work of art by artist Toni Scott.
