He attended the 2003 Comic-Con in San Diego, California with co-star Allison Mack, writers Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Jeph Loeb to promote the 3rd season of Smallville.
His father is Sam Jones II basketball player on the Boston Celtics (60's). One of the all time greats.
