Speculation over Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's participation has prompted some to believe the oft-reviled couple quit the show. However, a rep for the couple tells ET: "Heidi and Spencer are still in the jungle and part of the show." Meanwhile, producer Paul Telegdy gave Ryan Seacrest an update this morning on Ryan's KIIS FM radio show, saying Spencer and Heidi may face a penalty for leaving camp and breaking the rules. Pop/rock singer Pink reached out to her Twitter page, slamming "American Idol" finalists over their "So What" performance during its finale. "I heard it thru the grapevine that someone butchered my song last night on TV ... does that mean I've 'made it?' lol," so she wrote.

The Top 13 Idol finalists delivered their rendition of Pink's single "So What" in the result show of the Ryan Seacrest-hosted singing competition on May 20. At that night, the eight boys and five girls took the stage in all-white outfits for the performance.

It's interesting the way Ryan Seacrest framed last night's battle of the American Idol finalists, painting a major contrast between the two contestants. His list of the differences between the two singers was not simply a clashing description of two people,


"American Idol" found its top five on Wednesday night -- but first, voters told two hopefuls to disco on home! Host Ryan Seacrest wasted no time in revealing Lil Rounds as the first eliminated competitor. For her swan song, Lil reprised "I'm Every Woman" -- and, perhaps in a case of too little, too late, the judges gave her a rave review. "You sang brilliant tonight!" Paula Abdul enthused. "Lil, baby, you're just on your way," Randy Jackson said, getting Kara DioGuardi's agreement. And Simon Cowell, arguably Lil's biggest critic on the panel, said, "I'm actually a fan of you. I think you made some bad decisions, but people do that." Then, Seacrest revealed that either Anoop Desai or Allison Iraheta would be getting the boot as well. "You both have awesome voices," said returning finalist David Archuleta, who performed his single "Touch My Hand." "Know that it's not over even after this." Ultimately, voters sent Anoop packing. Anoop admitted he was disappointed, "but I have to look at the bright side," he said. Meanwhile, Lil warned her fellow competitors to expect plenty of phone calls from her! Also on the results show, disco made a one-night comeback with some of genre's grooviest stars taking the stage: Freda Payne crooned "Band of Gold," Thelma Houston belted out "Don't Leave Me This Way," and KC (sans the Sunshine Band) was in the mood to "Do a Little Dance."

Miley Cyrus is recording a song with her ex-boyfriend. The "Hannah Montana" star has teamed up with Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas to record "Pass It On" - the first time they have worked together since their December 2007 split.

The star-studded Disney single will be recorded later this week, with Nick's brothers Kevin and Joe also likely to appear.

As the tension mounted, Ryan Seacrest asked Simon Cowell if any of three contestants were worth saving. "One," Simon replied. Ultimately, Megan was revealed to be the contestant with the lowest number of viewer votes, perhaps due to her Tuesday night performance of Bob Marley/Lauryn Hill's "Turn Your Lights Down Low," which Simon called "boring" and "indulgent." On Wednesday night, Megan said of his criticism, "I love you Simon, but I didn't really care." Would Simon be there for Megan in her greatest hour of need on the show? "Megan, with the greatest of respect, when you said that you didn't care, nor do we," Simon said, speaking for the rest of the judges. And with that, Megan was ousted. Also on the show, "Idol" champ David Cook sang "Come Back to Me" and received a special surprise afterwards: a plaque in honor of his debut album going platinum and selling over a million copies. Lady Gaga also belted out her hit "Poker Face."

Ryan Seacrest revealed on his KIIS FM radio show who will be the hilarious host at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Ryan said "Saturday Night Live" cast member Andy Samberg will host the awards show held at Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheater. The show is set to air on Sunday, May 31. Andy and Justin Timberlake starred in the "SNL" digital short and viral sensation "D--- in a Box" that won a Creative Arts Emmy in 2006. Andy is currently starring alongside Paul Rudd and Jason Segel in the new comedy 'I Love You Man' coming to theaters Friday, March 20.
