“They remain close friends and continue to have the utmost love and admiration for each other. They ask that their privacy be respected surrounding this personal matter.”

The Canadian couple had split earlier in June but got back together around the end of September. The singer and Smokin Aces actor had dater for 2 years before becoming engaged in 2004 but had never announced a wedding date. Ryan told People in 2005, "We feel like we're already married".
