Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe earned the title of Most Overpaid Celebrity in Hollywood. Forbes magazine composed the list of stars whose movies don’t make a profit. Kidman receives an estimated paycheck of $15 million per movie. Her recent film, The Golden Compass, was made with a $200 million budget and only earned $26 million in its first week in the box office. Kidman only earns the studios $8 for every $1 she is paid. Crowe is labeled the worst overpaid actor as he only earns the studio $5 for every dollar he makes. Also making the list is comedians Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell in third and fourth place. Jennifer Lopez rounds out fifth place followed by Adam Sandler and Cameron Diaz. Denzel Washington, Will Smith and Tom Crusie complete the top 10.
