Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. claims that Burger King is responsible for getting him off drugs.  In 2003,  Downey was in California with a ton of "f*cking dope" in the car.  He decided to stop at Burger King, and eating one of their hamburgers caused his inner revelation.



He said, "I have to thank Burger King. It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen."

 

He then immediately dumped all his drugs into the ocean and decided to clean up his act. Robert claims he used the experience for a scene in Iron Man when his character asks for a burger after escaping the terrorists.

Well, whatever did it for him, I'm just glad he got his life and career back! I wasn't going to marry him if he was going to have to spend more time in rehab than with me!
