Richard Steven Horvitz Biography
Richard Horvitz was born in Los Angeles, California, in the summer of 1966. He began acting professionally at the age of 10. As a child he appeared in numerous stage productions. Among the most notable, the musical "Oliver!", starring Dick Shawn and Stubby Kaye. Also as a child, Richard starred in numerous commercials and made many television guest appearances. As an adult Richard attended UCLA before leaving to star in the TV series Safe at Home. In 1987, Richard starred along with Mark Harmon and Kirstie Alley in the Carl Reiner-directed film, Summer School for Paramount Studios. Richard continues his on-camera work today. Most recently he starred in the film The Legend of Galgameth for the Disney Channel and also the film Storm, starring Martin Sheen. Richard also continues to make guest appearances on television. Fans of animation might recognize Richard as the voice of Daggett on Nickelodeon's The Angry Beavers. As well as the voice of Zim on Nickelodeon's Invader ZIM. Cartoon Network viewers may also here Richard regularly on the series, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, as the voice of Billy / Billy's Dad / various voices.
