Billy Ray confesses to Pat that the two are like peas in a pod because they have a great deal in common. "Miley and I both play music by ear and we play life by ear and leave a whole lot of things up to fate," Billy Ray reveals. But, it isn’t just luck that brought Billy Ray back into the limelight -- just like his daughter, it’s his musical talent. Recently, the singer has turned back to his southern country rock roots for his upcoming album. Billy Ray plans on hitting the charts hard with Back to Tennessee. The album, which marks his 11th studio album, hits stores November 18.

Donald Trump to the rescue! The venerable real-estate magnate wants to help Ed McMahon out of foreclosure, he tells "The Insider"'s Pat O'Brien. "I'm trying to help," Trump tells Pat. "All I can do is try. He is a great iconic figure but whether you are iconic or not, this is no way to live the latter part of your life." "We'll just see if the bank is reasonable," he adds. "It is a real mess." The Donald is working on a deal to purchase the home and lease it back to the former "Tonight Snow" star.  The deal is not official at this point but McMahon's rep tells "The Insider" they are in talks and are optimistic it will happen.

Meanwhile, at an All-Star media event in New York, A-Rod graciously answered the questions of hungry journalists saying, "You have to take the good with the bad and not take yourself too seriously," reports the New York Post. Rodriguez added, "Look, everyone has distractions. ... everyone goes through personal issues. Mine are on the front page of the papers. I'm fine with it. You have to deal with that, challenging times."   "I've learned to put whatever issues are on the front page in one small box over here, (gesturing an imaginary container). ... And baseball has been a great vehicle for me to keep my mind on what I love to do most, to play baseball."

"The Insider"'s own Pat O'Brien has received a statement from Jon Voight expressing his excitement about the birth of twins to his daughter, Angelina Jolie. "I am deeply happy. I'm over the moon, Pat. It's magnificent. In this world, all we can hope for is that mommy and the kids are healthy. I'm very excited and thanks for letting me send my love to them."  Voight, currently involved in shooting the TV series "24," said he would be thrilled to see the newborns. "If I were called today, I'd be there." Pat O'Brien, co-host of "The Insider" will be returning to the syndicated program on April 14. O'Brien, who just completed a second stint in rehab, will be based in Los Angeles.

In February, O'Brien reportedly entered rehab for the second time because his doctors felt it was the best course for maintaining his sobriety.
