Son of Anthony Perkins and Berry Berenson. Graduated from LA's Harvard-Westlake School. Has BA in English from New York University. Nephew of actress Marisa Berenson. Perkins' mother, actress/photographer Berry Berenson, was on board the terrorist-hijacked American Airlines flight #11 that crashed into the World Trade Center. [September 11, 2001] Great-grandson of art historian Bernard Berenson, who helped assemble some of the greatest art collections in the United States. Great grandson of famous fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli. Named after his paternal grandfather Osgood Perkins , a stage actor who also had character roles in movies in the 1920s and '30s.
